Grand Hall
Celebrate your special day in the stunning Great Hall at Christchurch Mansion, an elegant and historic setting for your wedding ceremony.
The Great Hall provides a breathtaking backdrop, featuring a striking black and white marble floor and adorned with exquisite Tudor and Stuart portraits.
Capacity: Up to 45 people
Lower Tudor Room
The atmospheric Lower Tudor room, where your wedding ceremony will take place, sees a beautifully ornate fireplace taking centre stage.
The richly carved mantelpiece provides the backdrop to your service, and the detailed line-fold panelling adds an intimate feel to the room.

Wingfield Room
The Wingfield Room is immersed in history and magnificent carved panels depicting classical scenes, including the famous “Judgement of Paris”. Originally part of Sir Humphrey Wingfield’s Ipswich townhouse, these beautiful panels were later acquired by the Cobbold family before finding their permanent home in this specially designed room in 1931.
Perfect for those seeking a small and meaningful celebration, the Wingfield Room offers an atmosphere of history, elegance, and intimacy.

Reception – Full Venue Hire
With its array of ornate and original features Christchurch Mansion is a magnificent venue for your wedding reception.
The Great Hall, at the heart of the Mansion, provides a striking focal point for your celebration and can accommodate a seated or buffet style reception. When the formalities are out of the way, you and your guests can take to the black and white marble floor to relax and unwind, enjoying your choice of band, music or entertainment.
With the included hire of the China Room, the Victorian Kitchen and an outside seating area, there is more than enough room to dance, eat and have fun. Whether you want separate areas for evening entertainment, photo booths or children’s activities, we can adjust the venue to suit you.
