About the Reg Driver Centre
Located within Christchurch Park, one of Ipswich’s heritage parks, the Reg Driver Visitor Centre is surrounded by 81.5 acres of stunning parkland.
In walking distance from the town centre, The Reg Driver Centre is easily accessible and has excellent transport links, as well as disabled parking making it the ideal location for your event.
Created as part of the £4.2m Heritage Lottery Fund refurbishment of Christchurch Park, the Centre was completed in 2008.
Designed to be “eco-friendly” the Centre, which is named after Reg Driver, the first Chairman of the Friends of Christchurch Park, contains several eco features and was awarded a High Commendation from the Ipswich Society Awards in 2008.
